When coming from the périphérique:

  • Get out at Porte d'Asnières (rue Victor Hugo)
  • At the fourth traffic lights, turn right (rue Paul Vaillant-Couturier)
  • Then the first street on the right (before the trains bridge)

Beware: Parking difficulties and ticket machine. HSC does not have a visitor parking lot. The nearest parking lots are the swimming pool's and the "Eiffel" commercial centre's.

Two Velib stations are present near HSC:

  • rue Aristide Briand ;
  • 109 rue Paul Vaillant Couturier.

By public transport

Access by train:

  • Go to Paris, Saint Lazare train station.
  • Take a suburb train for Clichy-Levallois:
    • Those trains are bound for Nanterre Université or Bécon les Bruyères, depending on the time, and generally leave from platforms 5 to 8. Beware, not all trains stop at Clichy-Levallois, ckeck on the stops list at the beginning of the platform.
    • A train every ten minutes at rush hour, every 15 minutes otherwise. The exact timetable can be checked on idf.sncf.fr.
    • Stay at the rear of the train
    • Clichy-Levallois is in zone 2, so an orange card which covers that zone is ok. If you need to buy a ticket, you can combine métro and train in one ticket (2,2 Euros for a single trip), provided you ask for it at the ticket office.
  • Get off at Clichy-Levallois (the second stop, the first one being Pont Cardinet; travel time: 7-8 minutes) and use the exit situated at the rear of the train.
  • Turn right on exiting the station (rue Aristide Briand): the rue de la Gare is the first street on the right (beware, we are situated at number 4 bis, not at number 4).

Access by bus:

Bus number 53, which leaves from the Opéra and goes past the Saint Lazare station, goes through Levallois-Perret (route map). Get off at the "Victor Hugo - Jean Jaurès" stop (second stop after the porte d'Asnière, in the Victor Hugo street just before the secont traffic lights on the map).

The bus takes 20 to 40 minutes to connect Saint Lazare to that stop, depending on the traffic conditions. As a consequence, it is only interesting if there is a train strike.

To take the bus from the Saint Lazare station, go down the stairs located west of the platforms (on the left when looking at the platforms, that is to say on the side of the lower platform numbers, to the right of the newspaper stand) ; the stop is just down the stairs. From outside, walk around the west side of the station (rue de Rome). See the Saint Lazare station area map.
